The team's main 2017 trio of Thierry Neuville, Hayden Paddon and Dani Sordo will be joined by Andreas Mikkelsen, as the Norwegian was announced to tackle the final three rallies of the season with Hyundai.
Hyundai was expected to stay a three-car team for these events, with Paddon skipping the upcoming Rally Catalunya and then Sordo set to miss the last two events in Wales and Australia.
Yet, the Korean squad now confirmed Sordo will also drive in Wales, as Hyundai attempts to make up a 64-point deficit to M-Sport in the manufacturers' championship.
Hyundai team principal Michel Nandan said: “We had always retained the hope of running four cars in Wales Rally GB.
"We believe that this competitive line-up gives us a chance of keeping both drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles alive.
“Thierry scored a podium last year, something Andreas achieved in 2015, so we know their potential there.
"Hayden has finished strongly in this event previously, so it will be the perfect occasion for him to return to form.
"Dani, meanwhile, as a previous podium scorer in Wales, will give us a solid benchmark in the fourth car.”
