The second Indy Lights race was interrupted for five hours by lightning and then the IndyCar GP of Indianapolis, but at the conclusion of the race, Lundqvist was a conclusive victor.

The Indy Lights field has completed 14 of 35 laps in its second race of the weekend, but lightning in the area forced officials to halt it, and postpone its resumption until after the IndyCar race.
