"Our two days at NOLA have been a very humbling experience for us. We got most of the first session in yesterday and then endured some gearbox issues the second session.

Unfortunately this morning we only were able to run half a session because of braking issues, and in the last session, we had to fix some things with the gearbox.

Really I think all the flaws got worked out this weekend, and if anything, we're better prepared for the test coming up at Barber (Motorsports Park). The Andretti Autosport team has worked extremely hard to give me a great car. I don't feel like being sick at this test, that I've been able to perform 100% like I normally would, so it's just been a couple of big learning days for us."

Matthew Brabham, No. 83 United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED (First session: P2 at 1:27.749 - Second session: P2 at 1:27.760)

" It was another good day. I think we proved that we definitely have the pace to fight for the first couple positions. We were in the top two every single session, so I definitely think we have a lot of speed. At the same time, we still have a little work to do and a lot of changes to make still. We'll keep working hard at it... focusing on St. Petersburg. Overall I'm very pleased at how it all went. The United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED guys are working really hard and doing a great job, and I think all the hard work is definitely showing."
