Facu Regalia ended up yesterday his second test day of the week in Barcelona. Argentina´s driver was able to test in wet and dry weather conditions, due to rain got worse hour by hour.

Early in the morning, Regalia was among top-5 fastest but the settings changes later didn´t work as expected, and he couldn´t make the most of his second set of tires.

Finally he finished 8th fastest – with almost thirty drivers taking part in the tests- with a best time of 1:34.519. Then in rain track conditions were fairly bad and it was almost impossible to keep on track the car.

It´s worth mentioning that no less than ten times the afternoon session was red-flagged. Under the circumstances ART Grand Prix driver managed to post a time of 1:57.234, 6th fastest.

“In general our conclusions are quite good, because in the first session I was in top-5 all the time. It was a shame that the set-up changes didn´t work for my driving style properly and couldn´t set a quicker time.

Heavy rain wasn´t that easy to cope with in the afternoon. The red flags prevented me to improve something else my time because I´d to abort several laps while improving”, Regalia said.

“I think that everyone at ART Grand Prix did a good job, and my feeling at the wheel of the car is quite good. I also think our set-up for this track is good, and our improvements on wet asphalt are evident as well”, finally explained.

Next official test for Regalia is scheduled at Silverstone, on 3-4 April, and being the last chance previous to season kick-off in May.
