Profiting from the dismal race of his previous closest rival Pedrosa, Vinales now moves to 26 points clear of the pack.Dovizioso moves up to second, with Rossi a close third.

Rossi looks absolutely knackered after that one - he'd faded a little bit in the end but it was a valiant effort from a rider recovering from serious injury.
It's Ducati's first Mugello win since Casey Stoner in 2009 - which, before Dovi's triumph today, was also the last time the Italian GP wasn't won by a Spaniard.

So how about that from Andrea Dovizioso? His overnight illness proved completely inconsequential here as he grabbed his first win in the dry, his second win with Ducati and his third win in the premier class.
Replay show Pedrosa lost his bike while trying to pass Crutchlow down the inside of Turn 10, wiping the Brit out of the race in the process.

Dovizioso's speeding up - now eight tenths clear of Petrucci, who is coming under pressure from Vinales.

It's been a wretched race for Dani Pedrosa, currently P2 in the standings, as the Honda man is now running P12 between privateers Crutchlow and Rabat.

Meanwhile, KTM'S Pol Espargaro is the first retirement of the day as his race ends in the pitlane.

Aprilia's Aleix Espargaro not having a lot of fun in this one - he's last after his jump start penalty and has now had a major trip through the gravel.
Zarco and Lorenzo are dicing for seventh, both probably hoping for a better result than that.

Honda in trouble
Marquez is slowly but surely gapping Lorenzo in fifth, but he's now two seconds off Petrucci, who is lighting up the timing screens.
Pedrosa has made no progress from 10th, while Marc VDS rider Rabat is the lead Honda privateer in 12th, having passed Crutchlow.
A tenth separating Vinales and Dovizioso out front, Rossi now half a second back - and Petrucci, unlike Marquez or Lorenzo, is actually keeping up with the leading trio.
Lorenzo's brief stint out front didn't last, he's dropping back now - and a sixth win in seven Mugello MotoGP races is looking unlikely.
