Berlin (rol/ot) With three race drivers, the German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin will be on start at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2014. After they contracted the Israeli Roy Nissany and the Austrian Lucas Auer (both 19 years old), came the trump card with Felix Rosenqvist. The 22 year old Swede is an old acquaintance in the racing stable from the German capital city, now for the fourth year in the Team of Peter Mücke. Rosenqvist finished the last season of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship as vice champion and in 2012 he finished third. Furthermore he won the Formula 3 Masters in Zandvoort (Netherlands) with the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport in 2013 and 2011 and he finished second at the Formula 3 Grand Prix in Macau in 2012.

„Our whole team looks forward to the further teamwork with Felix. And we will continue our successful way of our so far three years together “, team principal Peter Mücke said. „And of course we will try to fight about the championship title again that Felix just slightly missed last year. He has an exceptional good speed and is very popular in the team, not only for his driving skills, but even more because he humanly fits perfectly in our team.“ The Mücke driver trio will be able to push each other forward.

“I’m glad to be getting another year with the guys at kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport”, Felix Rosenqvist said, who won ten out of 30 season runs last year. “We have some new challenges – with a more powerful car due to the regulations and some new tracks – to look forward to this season”, he said. The Swede, who worked on alternative plans over the winter time to get into the GP2 or World Series by Renault, which he wasn’t able to achieve, has a clear goal for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship: “I want to win the championship title I missed out on last year. And I have strong partners on my side with the Mücke-Team and my personal entourage.“

In the 2014 season, eleven racing weekends with 33 races in eight countries are scheduled. Before the sharp start from 18th to 20th of April in Silverstone (England), the trio of the Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport will face its strong combatants at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship for the first time at the official test drives on the 4th/5th of April on the Hungaroring in Budapest as well as on the 8th/9th of April on the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
