And we are GREEN, GREEN, GREEN! Busch leads as planned.
Hamlin's spotter is telling him which Fords are "good cars" – ie: not rolling wrecks.
Hamlin: "I'm going to let him in, but..." Not sure Hamlin appreciated Busch's move on him just before that yellow.
The cars that led a charmed life during that wreck? Harvick and Logano. You just wonder if they will put a new Ford fable into Victory Lane?
Stenhouse, Elliott, Preece, Bowman and Byron pit.
The red flag is over, the cars are rolling under yellow.
Great slo-mo footage shows Stenhouse bumping Logano's left-rear fender as Logano backs off to avoid spinning DiBendetto. How damaged is the #22 Penske Ford? We'll see soon enough
And equally admirably, Menard 'fesses up, admits it was his fault.
"Just a racing deal," says DiBenedetto generously, regarding the hard taps he took from Menard which caused him to spin and trigger the 18-car wreck
Truex was so close to escaping, but DiBenedetto just rocketed down the track out of the barrier and took him out.
He's still sat it in, just waiting to see if it rolls when they budge him!
Dillon's car is wedged tight on the bottom of the 32-degree banking, that will take some shifting.
Those that got through it: Busch, Hamlin, Bowyer, McDowell, Harvick, Logano, Stenhouse, Preece, Bowman. Logano took a huge shot in the rear.
Suarez, Newman, Dillon, Hemric, Byron you name it, they were involved. Turn 4 is just a collection of ambulances and wrecked race cars right now.
The 38 went underneath Almirola, that was brutal. Blaney was taken out. And everyone who was following.
Menard pushed Di Benedetto into a spin, that was the trigger.
Ten laps to go. It's GREEN, GREEN, GREEN for the Daytona 500! It's Hamlin leading from Busch, Bowyer and Di Benedetto.
"All the Fords are lined up back there from the third row" Busch's spotter tells him.
Pull those belts down tight, we're heading towards the final 10 laps!
