As the Spanish national anthem plays, we call it a day here.

Here's the report from an utterly mental Argentine Grand Prix.

 Over and out.
He slips up while stepping onto the podium, no injuries or anything, thankfully.
Crash
Marquez crashes on the top step of the podium.

Marquez says he felt great on the second gap, opened the gap, kept the distance - easy as that. He certainly made it look easy.

Pedrosa now talking to the TV crews, saying the lines further in the field were "crazy".

"I did a horrible race," he says. "Maybe the luckiest day of my racing, but I need to look to improve my bike to be faster."
Marquez beat Rossi by 7s, he beat his teammate Dani Pedrosa by 27s.
Marc Marquez is none the wiser over what happened behind him, but that's only fair - such a monumental race the Spaniard has driven.

6 Espargaro

9 Rabat
10 Bautista

13 Dovizioso
The incident between Iannone and Dovizioso is under investigation. Won't be a long investigation, that. Nothing really to investigate.
Dovizioso hobbles over the finish line in 13th. 13 finishers only.
It's a ludicrously impressive fourth place for the Aspar of Eugene Laverty, ahead of Barbera, Pol Espargaro, Bradl, Smith, Rabat, Bautista.
Iannone with a late lunge on Dovizioso, takes his teammate out.
Rossi second, Pedrosa third. The two Ducatis are over and done.

OH NO. Iannone and Dovizioso collide!

Marc Marquez wins the 2016 Argentine Grand Prix.
Dovizioso looks secure for second, but the battle for third is still on.
It's the final lap, by the way.
The two Ducatis are muscling Rossi out of the way now, but, my, where has Dovizioso come from?!
Dovizioso passes both Rossi and Iannone in one corner, forcing Rossi wide.
Rossi has stepped it up, but he now has Iannone to worry about.
Vinales' crash brought on by the damp patch that caught out a couple of riders in Moto2, by the looks of it.
Iannone was all over him at Turn 1, Vinales tried to block and slid off.

Maverick Vinales down.
3 laps to go. Marc Marquez is cruising.
Rossi and Vinales side by side at the line but the Italian maintains position.
Marquez now 7.5s clear of Rossi, who's being hassled by Vinales.
Redding looks very angry, we'll probably be hearing quite a few expletives from him post-race.
Mechanical problem
Or, well, no, he's not down - his bike just gave up the ghost.
Crash
Redding down.
Iannone past Dovizioso for fourth. Currently the only rider even remotely matching Marquez.
Vinales all over Rossi now.
Rossi still has not recovered pace and those riders behind him are now looming large in his mirrors.
Marquez six seconds ahead now.
Rossi, in fact, is running about the same pace as Scott Redding in P6.
Vinales just a second off Rossi now, Dovizioso and Iannone close behind as well.
Marquez's biggest enemy now is definitely himself - he's fallen a couple of times earlier in the weekend and he'll need to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Rossi continuing to shed time to Marquez on the second bike - and Vinales is marginally quicker as well.
Closest fight right now is for P6 as Scott Redding passes Dani Pedrosa.
Pit Stop
Loris Baz into the pits. That is outside the window, fairly safe to assume he's retiring the bike.
