Haydn Cobb is Autosport.com’s editor. After studying Sport Journalism at the University of Brighton, Haydn’s passion for all things sport led him to reporting on a wide variety of disciplines, from hockey to handball, while his dissertation focused on the alure and fascination of the Isle of Man TT. On entering the professional discipline in 2015, Haydn landed a junior journalist role at Crash.net covering a vast breadth of motorsport series, stretching from the British Superbike championship to Formula 1, and covering the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours single-handedly remains his most stressful assignment to date. Haydn went on to become editor of the website for almost three years, helping to oversee a rebrand and relaunch of the site. That led to a move to Autosport to become website editor in April 2020.

Living five minutes away from the McLaren Technology Centre, through coincidence rather than choice it should be stressed, Haydn still dreams of his beloved Woking FC climbing the football pyramid but for now will settle with the beauty of non-league football.
