Malukas in tears as he is interviewed by TV. He almost had it...

Malukas has yet to even take his helmet off...in disbelief.

Here we thought the Shank cars running side-by-side were going to ruin it for each other, but Rosenqvist pulled it back with incredible charge to the line.

That is the closest finish in the entire history of the Indianapolis 500

Felix Rosenqvist passes David Malukas coming to the checkered flag, winning the race in an unreal photo finish.

FELIX ROSENQVIST WINS THE  INDY 500 OVER DAVID MALUKAS

GREEN FLAG

FOUR LAPS TO ACHIEVE INDY 500 IMMORTALITY

Horrific impact for Collet at the exit of Turn 2...that was terrible.

Collet is slowly climbing from the wreckage...that's great to see. And now he sits down. That was a nasty hit

Rookie Caio Collet has wrecked hard, going up in flames.

12 laps remain. Rosenqvist leads O'Ward, Armstrong 3s adrift

Malukas 17 seconds behind.

Medical update on Newgarden: Icing a contusion on his foot but is otherwise OK

And just like that, Malukas is back to P4, but 23 seconds out of the lead.

Keep an eye on Malukas and Palou, they are slicing through the back of these fuel-savers and should be up to 4th soon

Malukas and his group are beginning to pit, 25 laps to go.

The closest driver to Rosenqvist who pitted around when he did is Armstrong, but he is over three seconds behind him (excluding Pato)

O'Ward going for a miracle save

Much more realistic fuel save for Rosenqvist, Armstrong, Siegel, Ferrucci

Malukas and Palou have separated themselves from the rest of the pack

PENALTY - Rookie Dennis Hauger speeding in the pits!
