Leader catches the ByKolles in the Porsche Curves, Hartley is right on Duval's tail. Gap down to less than half a second!
Rain reported in the final section of the Porsche curves...
It's a super scrap for third in LMP2. Jonny Kane (43) goes at it with Jake Dennis (20).
In LMP2, Merhi has a huge 21 second lead in the #44 Manor from nearest challenger Beche in the #46 Thiriet by TDS car.

Then it's the #42 Strakka, the #38 G-Drive and the #47 KCMG.
The gap between the leaders is still less than a second after 17 laps.
GTE Pro update: Makowiecki in the #92 Porsche leading the way by some 14 seconds from Westbrook's #69 Ford after that early surge.

Calado, Fisichella, Pilet round out your top five.
Huge smoke in the Audi garage from the wounded #7 car. This looks bad.
Duval now leads Hartley, they are 8s up the road from the Toyota of Conway.
How topsy-turvy is this race? The #8 Audi passes the #1 Porsche for the lead!
Race Control: "Rain expected and it will last 15 minutes."
Incidentally, GTE Am is now being led by the #89 car of Leh Keen for Proton, the team down to two men after Cooper MacNeil was taken ill.
The Lotterer Audi that was in the lead is now being worked upon frantically.
Suddenly it's all gone a bit dark at Le Mans. The cloud cover is increasing...
Hartley is the fastest man on track in the second-placed #1 Porsche, a 3m26.254s.
Make that fourth as the Italian ace drafts ahead of Pilet's Porsche.
Gavin has lost a spot to Pilet in the battle for fourth in GTE Pro, with Fisichella's Ferrari close behind.
Conway and Buemi have dropped to fourth and fifth respectively in their Toyotas, with the polesitting #2 Porsche the big loser in the first 20 minutes of racing. It's now sixth, 43s off the lead.
Let's reset things for you: Lotterer leads in #7 Audi, ahead of Hartley, who is now in the #1 Porsche. Duval is third in #8 Audi.
#1 Porsche managed a 1m14s pitstop, the quickest of the leaders, to the #7 Audi's 1m18s.
After Corvette's horror show in qualifying, Gavin has the #64 car up to a respectable fourth in GTE Pro.
#7 Audi leads the #1 Porsche and the #8 Audi. Best Toyota is now fourth.
All the GTE Pro cars have been in the pits now. Order is Makowiecki from Westbrook and Calado at the head of the field.

Erstwhile leader Muller has lost a lot of time.
So who's going to be in the lead now? Lotterer in the #7 Audi?
Both Toyotas pit from the lead of the race, #2 Porsche is in too.
The #1 Porsche is ahead of the #8 Audi, but for how long? Looks like Duval is quicker.
Very tricky conditions out there now, dry line but with treacherous damp patches.
The #49 is actually leading LMP2 after stops for the #26 and #36.
Our first penalty of the race goes to the #49 Michael Shank Ligier car for using a second engine. Five-minute stop-and-go for Vanthoor.
So the Toyotas, and Jani's Porsche, are the only LMP1 cars not to pit for slicks.
