That means Conway now leads Le Mans for the second time today in the #6 Toyota.
Muller has the #68 Ford back into P7 now, clear of Gavin's fading #64 Corvette.
Bird now on a charge in GTE Pro, he's just picked off Pilet for P5. Fisichella next on the Briton's radar.
A ton of traffic for Hartley to deal with, a mix of GTs and an LMP2. He deals with it like the expert he is; no repeat of his Silverstone faux pas.
Petrov in the pits, along with Albuquerque, so that's Merhi back in the LMP2 class lead in the #44.
The #2 Porsche, which started this race from pole and led early on, continues its struggle. It's now 38s off the pace. Dumas behind the wheel.
An Aston holds up Conway at Porsche Curves, he lost the best part of a second there.
Conway wisely jinked out of Duval's tow on the crest before Indianapolis – wonder if he's remembering what happened to Peter Dumbreck in 1999?
Ex-F1 racer Vitaly Petrov has sneaked into the LMP2 lead during a round of pitstops. Rast has just stopped in the #26 G-Drive.
After being nose-to-tail on the previous lap, Hartley is suddenly gone: 4.669s up the road. A 3m25.779s from the Kiwi has broken the Audi attack for now.
Elsewhere in Am, the #60 Ferrari is finally out of the pits.
Duval is badly balked by a Porsche GT in the Porsche Curves, allowing Conway right on to his tail.
Change of lead in GTE Am: Pat Long in the #88 Porsche now heads the class from Wolf Henzler in the #78.
The sun is just starting to break through the clouds here at La Sarthe...
Two seconds now covers the top three cars. #1 Porsche, #8 Audi and #6 Toyota. This is WEC racing at its finest.
Most of the P2 frontrunners are in now, including Beche, Kane and Dennis. That'll hand the class lead back to Rast in the #26 car.
And the #7 Audi is back in the fray after its turbocharger change.
Track limits warning for the GTE Pro leader now, in fact. Best behave yourself, Fred.
Three wide! Duval laps Merhi's LMP2-leading Manor and Carroll's GTE Am Porsche.
Westbrook steadily chipping away at Makowiecki's GTE Pro advantage. The gap between the pair is down to 12 seconds, the Ford lapping about a second quicker than the Porsche.
Conway entering the mix of the leaders' duel now. He's just 2.3s off the lead.
Belts done up in the #7 Audi, that's been stranded in the garage and has already lost 5 laps.
To give you an indication of how hot this battle is, both cars are hitting 320kph on the approach to Indianapolis.
Hartley and Duval both have to go off track to pass an Aston Martin exiting the second Mulsanne Chicane. This is intense stuff.
Spots of rain on the camera lens at the Dunlop Esses.
Hartley's lead is 0.472s. Conway is now 5s behind the leaders in third.
So #1 Porsche now leads #8 Audi. The #6 Toyota is closing in third, with the second Toyota 17s behind him. Rebellion #13 is now up to sixth overall.
Looks like the Porsche unleashed some extra boost, as he just breezed past the Audi.
Conway sets fastest lap, a 3m25.842s. He is 6s behind the battle for the lead.
Duval is told the rain "should only last a couple of minutes" – just what you want to hear when you're leading the 24 Hours of Le Mans!
