The 52 and 51 spun wildly and are both stuck in the grass.
We told you to expect pitlane chaos and it just happened.
Last year's winner Austin Dillon drills Brendon Gaughan entering pitlane. Expect more fun here!
Inside lane gaining preeminence now, with Byron leading Stenhouse, Bowyer, Logano
Meanwhile the Penske Fords run seventh (JoLo), 10th (Blaney) and 13th (Kez)
Lead Toyota at this stage is sixth placed DiBenedetto, but Kyle Busch is lurking in eighth
The two lanes are being led by Hendrick Chevys, Byron inside, Johnson outside.
They're chased by Stenhouse and Harvick respectively
Byron and Johnson hook up at the front - it's a Hendrick benefit!
Stenhouse and Bowyer come close to wrecking on the backstretch!
Clint Bowyer into fifth place, pushing Johnson on outside lane
Johnson still leading the outside lane but it's not enough to get him out front.
Byron and Harvick move down to claim first and second overall but on the inside lane
Byron sticks with the outside line, and he's back in front.
One to go, and then it's 75 laps to decide who wins the 61st Daytona 500.
At the restart, it will be Byron leading Almirola, Stenhouse, Harvick and Suarez leading the way in a Ford 2-3-4-5. Wonder how this will work out?

Surprise star of the race so far? DiBenedetto. He's Leavine on a jet plane.

But can he remain a contender to the end of the race? 

Here come the pitstops. Blaney brings them down, Bowman, Almirola, Stenhouse and Harvick stay out.
At the end of Stage 2, both lanes looked strong when properly organized, but there was so much side-to-side shuffling that it kept breaking tows and losing momentum for the bottom half of the Top 10.
Keselowski fell down to fourth, ahead of Stenhouse. DiBenedetto kept sixth.
Keselowksi leaves Blaney's draft, but Blaney pulls across again.
Can the Penske duo keep the pack behind? One to go to the end of Stage 2!
