Haas Formula 1 driver Ollie Bearman has revealed the extravagant gift he bought his younger brother for Christmas.

Bearman opened up on one of the big perks of having an F1 driver in the family during an appearance on the Up To Speed podcast. The Briton explained that he gifted his younger brother, who is 16, a Fiat Topolino, even though he has not yet acquired a standard driving licence.

"No, he's too young. He's still 16," Bearman explained, when asked if his brother had passed his driving test yet. "But, actually, I got him a little car for Christmas, because in France and Monaco, you can drive certain types of cars when you are younger.

"So I got it painted. I got his logo. It's called a Fiat Topolino and the door is a rope. It's made for the beach, so you take it down to the beach, and you can park where you want. He feels very happy about that."

From the image shared by Bearman of the rear of the car, it appears to be the new fully electric Topolino. According to the official Fiat website, it is "designed for city travel, officially classified as a light quadricycle. It’s not a traditional car – think of it more like a moped or scooter, but with added comfort and protection."

It boasts a mighty top speed of 27.9 mph thanks to a mighty 8 horsepower and 32 lb-ft of torque, enough for the Italian brand to warn of the car slowing on steeper inclines. On a flat road, it has a maximum range of 46 miles - more than enough for a quick zip around a small city or town.

This comes after a strong start to Bearman's second year in F1. The 20-year-old driver impressed in his rookie season, outperforming his experienced team-mate Esteban Ocon. He finished 13th in the drivers' standings with 41 points, while Ocon placed 15th with 38 points.

The Haas driver has continued the strong streak into 2026, scoring 17 points in the first three rounds, which has placed him seventh in the drivers' standings. Ocon, in comparison, is currently 15th with one point.
