(Friday 14, September): The Skip Barber National Series traveled to Miller Motorsports Park this weekend for another double race format. Joel Miller has been consistently the quickest driver during practice, topping the charts 2 out of the 3 practice sessions.

"I saw the circuit for the first time Wednesday morning, and putting it on top right away gives me a good feeling for the weekend," quotes Miller. However, during yesterday afternoons two qualifying sessions, the No. 70 car of Miller was suffering from overheating issues. Even with the engine running at extreme temperatures and losing power Miller was still able to post a time good enough for a 3rd starting spot in both races.

After qualifying Miller said, "It was frustrating losing power each lap, but third is a good starting position despite the issues." Skip Barber believes they found the problem in the radiators lines and will have the car ready for competition come the two races later in the weekend.
