2026 MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix – How to watch, session times & more

MotoGP travels to Barcelona this weekend for the sixth round of the season. Here's the full schedule for the 2026 Catalan Grand Prix.

Less than a week after the French GP, MotoGP is back in action, with the Catalan GP moved earlier in the year to form a double header with Le Mans.

The surface at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya offers little in terms of grip, in stark contrast to the Bugatti Circuit MotoGP riders raced last weekend.

Ducati has a strong track record in Barcelona, having won the last three races at the Spanish circuit, including the 2024 Solidarity GP.

But it was also at this track where Aprilia scored its first 1-2 finish in MotoGP, as Aleix Espargaro led factory team-mate Maverick Vinales in a historic result in 2023. The Noale-based manufacturer is again the favourite for the top spot this weekend.

Ducati's attack has been weakened by the absence of Marc Marquez, who is currently recovering from a double surgery following his sprint crash last Saturday. No replacement was announced, with Francesco Bagnaia the only rider to represent the factory team this weekend.

The Catalan GP will be followed by an in-season test on Monday, giving manufacturers another chance to trial important updates for the final year of the 1000cc rules era.
