Lando Norris has named his four favourite Formula 1 drivers of all time in a new video shared by McLaren

The McLaren driver opted for four world champions who he grew up watching. Kicking off his list, he kept it close to home and chose British drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button

"I'm Lando, and these are my four favourite drivers in F1 of all time," the 2025 champion told the camera. "We're starting with two Brits. Actually, Jenson and Lewis. These were the guys I supported when I was a kid and inspired me when I was a kid. So, two Brits, two incredible drivers, two McLaren drivers, two of my favourites."

When it came to filling the remaining spots on his shortlist, he stuck to choosing champions from a similar era.

"Three and four are a bit trickier. I'm going to say people that I grew up and I watched and I experienced. So number three, I'm probably going to have to go with Seb Vettel. Because he's just a lovely guy. He's a good guy.

"When I was in starting car racing, he was winning his championships with Red Bull. So for me to kind of see that, experience it. He was a passionate guy, was stylish with his helmets and things like that. So was a different driver for me in that case.

"Number four, my fourth favourite driver. I'll probably go with Fernando [Alonso]. Again, a guy I watched growing up, a guy I experienced in my first couple years of joining McLaren, when he was still racing with McLaren.

"He's just a good personality, a lovely person, someone I get on well with, and he's just a nice guy. So when you mix a good personality with a great driver, I think all four of those are pretty good drivers."
