Verstappen himself somewhere between tears and a self-confident smile.
The Dutch anthem rings out around Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya.
It goes without saying, of course, that Max Verstappen is the youngest race winner in Formula 1 history.

He gets rather enthusiastic handshakes from Kimi (as enthusiastic as Kimi ever gets, but you know) and Vettel in the pre-podium room.
Verstappen arrives to parc ferme. He's done this kind of thing before - won a bunch of races in F3 when nobody expected him to.

Get used to it.
After being dragged through the mud for their decision to promote Max Verstappen, Christian Horner and Helmut Marko can walk around with their heads held high.

I think you can see their smiles from Portugal.
Finishing order:
1 Verstappen
2 Raikkonen
3 Vettel
4 Ricciardo
5 Bottas
6 Sainz
7 Perez
8 Massa
9 Button
10 Kvyat
11 Gutierrez
12 Ericsson
13 Palmer
14 Magnussen
15 Nasr
16 Wehrlein
17 Haryanto
Making up the points are Perez, Massa, Button and Kvyat.
Sainz sixth - how much of this Red Bull win was down to him holding up the Ferraris at the start?
Ricciardo comes home in fourth despite the puncture, Bottas is fifth.
Absolute jubilation on the Red Bull pitwall. They look like they can't believe it. Can you?
MAX VERSTAPPEN HAS WON THE 2016 SPANISH GRAND PRIX.

REALLY.
Three sectors separate Max Verstappen from history. From immortality, if you will.
He's nursing his car, with nothing but the rim on the left rear, into the pits.
Oh, no, that's only because Ricciardo's tyre has come apart. Puncture.
A frustrated Kvyat, who's been stuck behind the Vettel - Ricciardo battle - unlaps himself from Ricciardo.

Has he just gotten himself fired there?
The cameras are on Vettel - Ricciardo, but Verstappen might have just cleared DRS range.
Ricciardo with a semi-committed look at Vettel into Turn 1. No cigar.
Verstappen is seemingly finding time out of absolutely nowhere right now.
Four to go, the gap between Verstappen and Raikkonen briefly spikes to nine tenths - the highest it's been in ages.
Meanwhile, the rest of the points, as it stands, is Bottas, Sainz, Perez, Massa, Gutierrez, Button.

In any other race, some of these drivers would be praised to high heavens.
The gap between Verstappen and Raikkonen is maintained as they clear Gutierrez. 5 laps to go.
Big lock-up by Ricciardo into Turn 1 as he continues to hassle Vettel.
Verstappen nearly gets held up by Jenson Button, but the Briton moves aside so as not to impede the battle.
That little run-in between former Red Bull teammates saw them drop a second to the leading pair. Could be crucial.
Seven laps to go, Verstappen is soldiering on out front.
Vettel: "****, if I don't avoid that, he's just going straight into my car. Honestly, what are we doing."

Does he have a point? ... Nah.
A very gutsy move but he runs wide on exit and Vettel retakes it.
