Summary

Status: Disconnected

Well, that's it for us today.

A race that promised quite a bit and delivered some - good and bad - in the opening laps, before settling into the usual F1 2016 affair.

Here's our report. Let's hope for some good news about Kevin Magnussen and his ankle injury before the day is out.

See you in a week's time at Monza.

Somebody in the crowd getting quite rambunctious now, as Rosberg gets a few boos on the podium.

Strange - he did absolutely nothing boo-worthy today. But what can you do?

Ricciardo waving an Australian flag to the camera in the pre-podium room: "Many Dutch flags, but a few Australian ones."
Hamilton's podium has done wonders for damage limitation, as he remains nine points ahead of his teammate in the WDC.
Local favourite Max Verstappen is only P11 at the chequered, but the crowds seem loud and happy enough.
"Excellent job, super drive, that was a super first stint on the medium, absolutely pulled away from everybody," Tony Ross tels Rosberg.
Then it's Hulkenberg, Perez, Vettel, Alonso, Bottas, Raikkonen and Massa.
Daniel Ricciardo brings it home in second, Lewis Hamilton makes up the podium from the back of the grid.
Nico Rosberg wins the 2016 Belgian Grand Prix.
One sector to go for Nico Rosberg and his first Belgian Grand Prix victory.
One lap to go. Raikkonen is closing on Bottas.
Two laps to go, P1 to P2, P2 to P3 and P3 to P4 are all more than 10 seconds.
Raikkonen past Massa for P9.

Raikkonen is now all over Massa, who is dropping a lot of time

It would be reasonable here to ask whether Bottas was waved past, but Massa legitimately looks off the pace.

"We can get him. He's going to be a sitting duck, so let's hunt Alonso down," Bottas is reassured.
Bottas has passed Massa for P8.
Another fastest lap from Hamilton - 1m51.583s. But he'd need to make up three seconds per lap on Ricciardo to catch the Aussie.
Massa back within DRS range of Alonso.
Fastest lap of the race - Lewis Hamilton, 1m51.692s.
Five laps to go:

15. Jolyon Palmer +94.203
16. Esteban Ocon +106.410
17. Felipe Nasr +108.469
Hamilton's gaining more than a second per lap on Ricciardo, but he is still 14 seconds down.
Alonso is doing well to keep the Williams duo and Raikkonen behind at the moment - he's just escaped DRS range.
Alonso train forming now on the Kemmel straight, with Massa, Bottas and Raikkonen following close.
Verstappen back up to P11, but he now has an 11-second gap to points.
The podium looks very much settled here, unless the mediums go off for the two leaders in the final laps.
Vettel now up to P6, passing Alonso.

14. Romain Grosjean +65.038
15. Jolyon Palmer +70.900
16. Esteban Ocon +88.987
17. Felipe Nasr +90.811
No lock-up for Vettel this time, he takes P7 from Massa.
Pass done - Hamilton is back into P3.
Hamilton has emerged behind Hulkenberg, but he is about to ease past the Force India.
"I'm not sure it was the right idea," says Hamilton about the medium tyres.

"We think it is. It's a good tyre," is the reply.
Massa and Vettel dicing for P7 - Vettel makes the move into Les Combes, but runs wide and allows Massa back through round the outside.
Hamilton pits for the final time. Mediums for the Briton.
Hamilton's seemingly decided to let Ricciardo go, he's now two seconds back.

More Ricciardo radio: "You are doing a very good job. You are on top of tyre temperatures now."
Rosberg now 11 seconds in the clear. He's basically not been on TV since the restart.
Hamilton is still running at around a second off Ricciardo. His softs are getting reasonably old already.
