The pre-podium room is a lot less awkward than one would expect after a race like this, with Hamilton and Vettel huddled together watching race action on TV - and Rosberg chatting up everyone else.
Rosberg picks up and carries Bernie Ecclestone around for a few seconds in the pre-podium room.

Rosberg taking a somewhat unconventional route to parc ferme, having left his car in the middle of the main straight.

Hamilton is already there - and he walks up to Rosberg specifically to give him a handshake and a pat on the back.

Rosberg now doing donuts on the main straight, producing almost NASCAR-levels of smoke.

P6 to P10 are Raikkonen, Hulkenberg, Perez, Massa, Alonso.

Nico Rosberg's wife Vivian now on the radio, and she gets to hear the German shout.

"We did it, yeaaaaah!"
Rosberg's margin of victory in the championship is five points.

"Yeeeeees, world champion, ****ing brilliant," Rosberg is told over the radio.
Celebrations at Mercedes, who have spent the last 20 laps of the race in a horrified state of panic.
Vettel is third, ahead of Verstappen and Ricciardo.

Lewis Hamilton wins the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but Nico Rosberg is the champion!
Vettel can't get close enough at T11.
The problem for Hamilton is that Rosberg got DRS on the first straight, so Vettel just doesn't have a good enough run yet.

"All you need is P3," Rosberg is reminded.
Vettel slower than Rosberg through S1.
One to go. Hamilton basically needs to park it.
Vettel dives down the inside of Rosberg at Turn 11, but the championship leader holds on!

"Right now I'm losing the world championship so I'm not bothered if I win or lose this race," says Hamilton.
A lap and a half to go. Vettel close to Rosberg at Turn 8.
Hamilton's crawling around in S3, which is bringing Verstappen back into the battle.

Two laps to go.
Vettel as close as he has been at Turn 11.
The good news for Rosberg is that Vettel has shaken Verstappen, who is now 1.7s adrift.

"Remember we can afford P3. We can't afford damage, so be cautious with Vettel," they tell Rosberg.
Three laps to go. Status quo maintained out front.
Hamilton keeps backing up Rosberg through S3 and stretching his lead through S1, before the DRS zones.
Vettel now closer to Rosberg than Rosberg is to Hamilton.
Replays show a collision between Manor duo Esteban Ocon and Pascal Wehrlein.

"This is Paddy. We need you to pick up the pace to win this race. This is an instruction," Lowe warns Hamilton. 

"I'm in the lead," replies the Briton.

Things are getting serious when Lowe gets on the radio.
Rosberg is now seven tenths off Rosberg, with Vettel arriving.
Vettel goes round the outside of Verstappen at T11, move done!
Vettel all over Verstappen after the first straight.
Five to go.
Vettel gets snap oversteer on entry to the second straight as he chases Verstappen. As a result, he can't overtake the Red Bull man just yet.
