LMH: Gaps as it stands - Conway (#7) is 1m08s clear of Buemi (#8), who is 48s clear of Negrao (#36). LMP2 leader Da Costa (#38) is a further 29s behind.
GTE Am: Haryanto spun after contact with Hoshino at Tertre Rouge. Yellow flag. Rain is falling heavily now.
GTE Pro: This period of wet weather could help bring the Hub Auto Porsche back into play after its earlier drive-through. Milner managed to catch a slide at the Dunlop chicane. The leading Ferrari has also run across the infield at the same corner.
LMP2: The leading LMP2 cars come in, with da Costa making way for Davidson in the #38 Jota out front. Colapinto replaces de Vries in the #26, and van Uitert takes over from van der Garde in the #29.
Plenty of action in the pits now as the weather worsens.
LMH: Kamui Kobayashi has now taken over from Mike Conway in the leading #7 Toyota, also taking on fresh slick tyres despite the weather. Well-timed for Toyota, as Kobayashi remains ahead of Buemi out front.
LMH: Glickenhaus has also enacted a change in the #708, with Pla making way for Mailleux.
GTE Pro: Interestingly the leading AF Corse Ferraris stayed out when the rest of the field pitted.
LMH: Kobayashi now has 12s in hand over Buemi out front. Alpine remains third with Negrao, and has been ticking off its 12-lap target for its fuel stops.
LMP2: That's Davidson in the lead #38 Jota! He went off at the Dunlop Curve and is now stuck in the gravel - and that's the lead gone for Jota.
GTE Am: The #18 Absolute Porsche loses it on the way up to the Dunlop chicane prior to the #38 Jota off.
LMP2: Davidson's off now hands the class lead to Kubica in the #41 WRT, who elected not to stop with the rest of the LMP2 cars. However, he now stops and this gives the lead to the #26 G-Drive piloted by Colapinto.
GTE Pro: Bamber stays aboard WeatherTech Porsche, Taylor in for Garcia, Christensen in for Estre, Lietz stays in #91 Porsche and Tandy in for Milner in #64 Corvette.

LMP2: Colapinto doesn't have this all his own way at the moment, however, as he's got van Uitert in the Racing Team Nederland car right on his tail.

In other LMP2 driver change news, Boyd has taken over from Lynn in the #23 United, Hanson from Albuquerque in the #22, Milesi from Frijns in the #31, Ye from Kubica in the #41, Aubry from Trummer in the #24, Aberdein from Jamin in the #32, and Fjordbach from Kevin Magnussen in the #49.

GTE Pro: The leading #51 AF Corse Ferrari is in the pits.
GTE Pro: Pier Guidi in the pits has handed the class lead to AF Corse team-mate Daniel Serra.
GTE Pro: After the third round of pit stops, Serra's #52 AF Corse Ferrari leads the WeatherTech Porsche by 21s. Pier Guidi's sister AF Corse Ferrari is now back to third.
GTE Am: #33 TF Sport Aston Martin leads the #98 Aston Martin Racing entry by 13.6s.

LMH: Dumas in the Glickenhaus is trying to climb back up the order, taking a little time to clear the LMP2 duo of van der Zande (#34) and Ye (#41).
LMH order (3H): #7 Toyota (Kobayashi), #8 Toyota (Buemi), #36 Alpine (Negrao), #708 Glickenhaus (Mailleux, P6 overall), #709 Glickenhaus (Dumas, P13 overall).
GTE Pro: As we reach the 3 hour mark:  It's an AF Corse Ferrari 1-2. The #51 leads the #52 by 21.8s. The WeatherTech Racing Porsche is third with Earl Bamber at the wheel.
LMP2 Top 5 order (3H): #26 G-Drive (Colapinto, P4 overall), #29 Racing Team Nederland (Colapinto, P5 overall), #28 Jota (Blomqvist, P7 overall), #65 Panis Racing (Allen, P8 overall), #23 United (Boyd, P9 overall).
And that's the first of our first three-hour stints. Tom and I are handing over to the platinum pair of Haydn and James for the next three hours - see you all in a bit!
GTE Am Top 5 order (3H): Pereira's #33 TF Sport Aston Martin leads Gomes in the #98 Aston Martin Racing entry by 13.6s, with the #47 Cetilar Racing Ferrari back up to third now in the hands of Giorgio Sernagiotto. Perrodo is back to fourth in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari and Scott Andrews now fifth in the Kessel Racing #57 Ferrari, moving ahead of Ollie Hancock's #95 TF Aston.
GTE ProIt seems like the order in the Pro class has settled down somewhat after those manic early laps of scrabbling for grip in the wet. Ferrari lie 1-2, but after their ding-dong battle earlier, Pier Guidi has lost time through that last pitstop cycle relative to team-mate Serra ahead.
Thanks very much Jake and Tom. Platinum pair is certainly a compliment, I just hope we can live up to it over the early evening stint.

LMH: Conway on his tricky stint in the #7 Toyota: "It was strange to have a couple of punctures because I was being extra careful and trying to stay away from the kerbs. I don't think we were doing anything risky, we were just unlucky."

GTE Am: At the head of the field, Pereira has put a gap on Gomes in the intra-Aston battle. Indeed, the one-time Brazilian Stock Car champion is now coming under pressure from the Cetilar Ferrari of Sernagiotto behind.
GTE ProAny hopes of the rain shower presenting HubAuto with a route back into the race failed to materialise. After such a promising qualifying, it's been a wretched race for the #72 Porsche, which was turned around on lap one and later hit with a track limits penalty. Dries Vanthoor is now at the wheel, but still behind the top four Am class runners.
LMH: #8 Toyota pits for fuel and a driver swap as Buemi hops out after an eventful and lengthy stint to hand over to Hartley.
LMH: It is now a busy pitlane in this class as the #709 Glickenhaus pits having been P15 overall, followed by the #36 Alpine from third overall.
GTE Am: Perrodo could soon come under pressure for his fourth place from Andrews. But looking at the bigger picture, the Aussie is the Silver in the Kessel car, which has yet to run its Am Takeshi Kimura.
GTE Am: Safety Car is out - a big shunt for Gomes in the #98 Aston Martin, which is buried in the tyre wall.
GTE Am: Replays show the Brazilian getting sideways on the flat-out right-hand kink on the approach to Indianapolis, losing the rear of the car and skittering across the gravel into the tyres.
This could have major ramifications for the race, even at this early stage, with three safety cars out on track - the field split into trains behind each one.
In the past, these safety cars have been crucial to determining the outcome of classes, creating gaps that have been difficult to make up for the remainder of the race. We'll let you know shortly who is behind which Safety Car and how it impacts each of the classes.
LMH: Speaking of those safety car splits, it appears the lead #7 Toyota is in one safety car train ahead of the #8 Toyota in second, with the #36 Alpine in the third train. So the gaps remain relatively stable for now.
GTE Am: Good to see that Gomes is out of the car and standing under his own power. That was a hefty shunt, and we've seen drivers concussed when going off there in similar circumstances.
LMP2: But for this class the top four are all in the same safety car train: #26 G-Drive, #29 Racing Team Nederland, #65 Panis Racing and #23 United Autosports in that order.
GTE Pro: It appears as though the top five in class are behind one safety car train, with both Ferraris, the WeatherTech Porsche, Jordan Taylor's #63 Corvette and the #92 Michael Christensen factory Porsche in that bunch. Richard Lietz's #92 Porsche, Nick Tandy's #64 Corvette are in the next one, and Dries Vanthoor the one after that in the much-delayed #72 HubAuto car.
