MXGP of Qatar 2017 post Qualifying Race

Yamaha Racing's motocross athletes embarked on their 19 round mission of world domination at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar on February 24th 2017. Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing's Jeremy Van Horebeek & Romain Febvre took their YZ450FM's to 5th and 7th respectively while Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP's Arnaud Tonus finished 6th. Wilvo's determined Scotsman, Shaun Simpson, mustered 17th after a small crash on the opening lap. In MX2, Kemea Yamaha Official MX2 sent out their troops with Benoit Paturel stepping up to the plate with his applaudable 2nd place finish while teammates Brent Van doninck and Alvin Ostlund showed good promise for 10th & 13th respectively.
