The confusing story behind Raikkonen's illegal wing

  shares
  comments

Kimi Raikkonen was thrown out of the qualifying results for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on race day, when his car failed a test designed to prevent cars' front wings from flexing too much. Jake Boxall-Legge joins Glenn Freeman to explain how the Alfa Romeo's front wing failed the test, and the confusing chain of events before and after that failed test. While the story behind it didn't make total sense, the outcome could serve as a warning shot to all of the teams as F1 adapts to a new era following the death of the FIA's Charlie Whiting on the eve of the 2019 season
