Webber says Red Bull 'not at normal level'

The Red Bull team has a lot of work to do if it is to challenge for the win here this weekend, according to Mark Webber.

The Aussie who lies second in the world championship, 18.5 points behind Jenson Button, says that the team expected Valencia to suit their car less well than other tracks coming up, like Spa, but nevertheless he is concerned by the difference in lap times with the Brawns in particular,

"We've got a bit of work to do tonight," he said. "We are not at our normal level at the moment. Seems to be [that the track suits Brawn more] but we've got a few days to go. The car doesn't feel too bad, it's just the lap times. Normally we are doing it to other people, today they are doing it to us.

"We have been strong in the last six races, the team has had very good momentum. We knew that this wasn't going to be one of our better venues but we expected to be better than we were today."

It looks as though Webber has a couple of tenths in hand over his team mate Sebastian Vettel here so far. In Budapest the Red Bull team didn't get the set-up quite right and suffered in the race as a result.

But as always it's hard to be certain how things will play out as the Brawns were looking quite good on Friday in Budapest and faded badly on Saturday and Sunday.
