Alex Albon on why the Miami GP has won him over after Williams points finish
Alex Albon has praised the growth of the Miami Grand Prix, saying the event has become more enjoyable as Williams looks to build on its points finish

Williams Formula 1 driver Alex Albon discussed the evolution of the Miami Grand Prix, and how the event at the Hard Rock Stadium has grown on him over the years.
The Miami Grand Prix was introduced to the F1 line-up in 2022 and has since been handed a contract extension, which will keep it on the calendar until 2041.
During a Williams video with former F1 driver David Coulthard, Albon explained about the growth of the championship in the United States: "It's amazing. It's changed so much. But to be honest with you, everyone is really friendly. I think Americans generally have a very positive demeanour.
"Honestly, Miami's warmed up to me a lot. The first year when we came to Miami, I don't know if it was just that it was the first year of Formula 1 coming here for, I don't know, ever. But just having that sense of it's a show, kind of what Vegas felt like in year one.
"But then as time has gone on, I feel like they've improved the structure of the races and just the teams, the way they've sorted themselves out coming to Miami as well. It's enjoyable now. I really enjoy it. And actually, we talk about this a lot, Lily and I, I think I could live here quite easily."

Williams arrived at the Miami Grand Prix with an array of upgrades after a productive five-week break in April. Carlos Sainz and Albon finished the grand prix in ninth and 10th, respectively, bringing home three crucial points for the Grove outfit.
The James Vowles-led team now sits eighth in the constructors' standings with five points, ahead of Audi in ninth and behind Racing Bulls in seventh.
The team now looks ahead to the Canadian Grand Prix on 22-24 May.
