Vettel under investigation for that cack-handed move on Massa.
That was critical for Rosberg, who is nine seconds behind Hamilton.
And Rosberg finally gets the move done on Verstappen around the outside at Stowe!
Quote
Massa is not happy with Vettel...
"He pushed me off track."
"He pushed me off track."
Vettel gets the place, but he muscled Massa wide in doing so.
Vettel and Massa both off in their battle for P9!
Behind this P2 fight, Ricciardo is making few inroads, still 15 seconds back, but Raikkonen is closing on Perez for P5.
Hulkenberg, Sainz, Massa, Vettel fill out the top 10.
Hulkenberg, Sainz, Massa, Vettel fill out the top 10.
Stopwatch
Fastest lap by Hamilton: 1:36.611.
Once again, Rosberg is right on Verstappen's tail at Stowe as the straight-line speed advantage of the Mercedes tells along the Hangar Straight. But still no way through.
Curiously, Hamilton's lead is down to 5.9s after a couple of so-so laps. Is tyre wear beginning to play a role?
Verstappen forces Rosberg to have a go around the outside at Stowe that time, textbook defending by the Spanish GP winner.
Quote
"That's moving twice," complains Rosberg about Verstappen.
Rosberg looks menacing at Copse, but no way through there.
All this is helping Hamilton to consolidate his advantage, he's 7.1s up the road now.
Another attempt on Verstappen by Rosberg at Stowe, but again the Mercedes driver can't pull it off.
Raikkonen is a massive 17.9s behind the Mexican in sixth.
A moment there for Perez at Abbey, but he continues without too much delay in P5.
Remember that Pirelli advised teams to do a maximum of 28 laps with the medium tyres. Hamilton's tyres are on 14 laps, with 19 to go.
The German has a go at Stowe, but can't quite clear Verstappen that time...
Rosberg continues to pile the pressure on Verstappen. Those extra three points are ones he can't afford to leave on the table.
Stopwatch
A 1:36.891 for Hamilton. A new benchmark.
Quote
"The blue flags are ridiculous," complains an angry Verstappen.
Stopwatch
But Ricciardo is fastest overall: 1:37.157.
Verstappen sideways as he puts a lap on Gutierrez at Vale...
Stopwatch
Hamilton sets his personal best lap of the race.
Now Verstappen and Rosberg will have to navigate their way by the duo.
The reigning champion has encountered traffic, as he charts a course past Gutierrez's Haas and Magnussen's Renault.
Were the race to end now, Hamilton would have Rosberg's championship lead down to a sole point.
