The eclectic VHC grid was once again enough to stir the hearts of all historic car fans. Qualifying showed that it wasn’t all about Porsches, since the first was only down in seventh place and that belonged to reigning Champions, Moreau and Langin. A Cesca Grac, Chevron B16, Elva MK8, Ford Falcon and GT 40 took the top spots on a dream grid. It was obvious from the start that the 2.0 Ford-powered Cesca Grac that was so out of sorts on the Circuit Bugatti, would leave its rivals no chance.
