The gap at the front is just hanging around the 30 second mark.

The LMP2 leader has more than a lap up its sleeve. Barring absolute disaster, Lapierre will bring it home for victory.

Remember, you can watch Ford's own stream of the action here...

Fisichella pits the #82 Ferrari from second in GTE Pro.
A scary moment for the #69 Ford, as it laps a Porsche at the Ford Chicane without much margin for error. It is third in GTE Pro.

In WEC terms, this has been a disastrous Le Mans for Ferrari, and it's had to rely on the Risi machine that runs in IMSA to shine.

In fact, IMSA series cars run 1-2-3 in GTE Pro, the first WEC regular is the fourth-placed Ford of Pla, ahead of the two Astons.

And it's also a US-run car that rules in GTE Am, so this has been a great Le Mans for the GTs from across the Pond.
A fire at the right-rear corner. Tattinger is out and OK.
The car is stranded, just off the left of the circuit, on the run  to Indianapolis.

Bill Sweedler in the GTE Am-leading Ferrari: "We're not even going to comment on the race, it's just head down and still pushing. I've don enough 24 hours and endurance racing, you know what can still happen. We've just got one more hour to go."
Gap at the front is still 28s. It's not getting any bigger, but Jani is making any ground forward either. Traffic-induced fluctuations aside, obviously.
The AF Corse Ferrari has moved up into second in GTE Am, following a pitstop for the #88 Porsche.
At the same time, the class-leading LMP2 pits again.
The #83 Ferrari has pitted in GTE Am, so the #88 Porsche is back into its rightful second.
We are well into the final hour now – will there be a sting in the tail of this 84th 24 Hours of Le Mans?
