Replay shows that Dalla Lana actually contacted the armco before spinning into the gravel on the opposite side of the Porsche Curves.
The race-leading #6 Toyota was in close proximity to the shunt that just befell Dalla Lana.
Sarrazin, who's due a pitstop soon, leads Jani by 1m14s – but the multiple safety car system here often confuses things mightily...
The #44 Manor is pushed back into the pits with visible bodywork damage. It could be a spin for Tor Graves has left the debris that's caused this safety car.
Race Control gives Ford GT #66 the hurry up: "You're slowing down everyone behind you. This is not a slow zone!"
Looks like there's quite a bit of chaos in the darkness as the safety car attempts to pick up the right cars.
Leader Sarrazin did a 5m28s lap, but Jani in second did 6m35s! Suddenly the lead is over 2m20s...
This safety car system never ceases to bewilder...
Lapierre back on track after five minutes spent out of action. Because of the safety car, the #36 holds on to second in LMP2.
