LMH: Nakajima now pits from second but has no such problems. Frijns's stop means the five Hypercar cars now occupy the top five places - and we've not been able to say that for a very long time.
LMP2: The regular order is restored with Deletraz pitting the #41 machine promoting Frijns in the #31 WRT car back to first in class.

Here's the latest recap on recent events as the race heads into its final stages:

GTE Pro: Less than 2.5 hours to go now and Pier Giudi still leads from Garcia and Christensen.
LMP2: We may be 21 hours in, but that's not stopped some of the drivers improving their lap times! Van der Zande in the sixth-placed Inter Europol ORECA seta a 3m31.663s to clock the quickest LMP2 lap of the race so far.
GTE Am: Over in GTE Am, Alessio Rovera leads from Ben Keating and Callum Ilott in his #83 AF Corse Ferrari.
GTE Am: Cressoni is back in for Ilott in the #80 Iron Lynx that is still P3.
It's been a long slog and, understandably, some of the mechanics are now grabbing some shut eye in this latter stage of the race - while others are tucking into some much-needed lunch.
LMH: Conway now pits from the lead for another set of tyres and some fuel and it's still looking good for the #7 Toyota.
GTE Pro: It's Jani in for Christensen in the third-placed #92 Porsche now.
GTE Am: TF Sport would love to get Keating out and swap in Fraga, but it has to use up his six hours of Bronze drive time. Once that's done, they can really start to move in on Rovera's #83 Ferrari.
LMH: With two hours to go, Nakajima makes another stop from second as he continues to circulate a lap between the leading Toyota.
LMH: The places have been fairly static for a while but here's a reminder of the order: 1 #7 Toyota (Conway); 2 #8 Toyota (Nakajima) - 1 lap; 3 #36 Alpine (Lapierre); 4 #708 Glickenhaus (Pla); 5 #709 Glickenhaus (Briscoe). But will there be any late changes?
LMP2: Over in LMP2, the places have been fairly static for a while - but there's still plenty of time for things to change, particularly when the two WRT cars are so close at the front. 1 #31 WRT (Frijns); 2 #41 WRT (Ye) +12.141s; 3 #28 Jota (Vandoorne); 4 #65 Panis Racing (Stevens); 5 #23 United Autosports (Lynn)
It's great to see the legendary Goodyear blimp take to the skies once again and it's providing some brilliant pictures over the Circuit de la Sarthe. Will it catch any late drama?
LMP2: The battle is on in LMP2 between the WRT team-mates! Ye is closing hand over fist on Frijns and the gap is now barely five seconds.
LMP2: Any potential LMP2 lead battle has now been halted as Frijns dives into the pits. But will he still be ahead when the #41 car makes its stops?
LMP2: It's also close in the battle for fifth in class as van der Zande in the Inter Europol currently has the place ahead of the #23 United Autosports car - which, a long time ago, was in contention for the win.
LMP2: And there's a problem for the #21 DragonSpeed ORECA as Hanley slows!
LMP2: That's a significant car as it is leading the Pro-Am class within LMP2 but is surely about to lose that advantage.
LMP2: Hanley finally limps the DragonSpeed ORECA back to the pits. Mechanics aren't frantically working on it and it's been refuelled. Was that the problem?
LMP2: Hanley is now out of the pits and maintains a slender lead in the class.
LMP2: But all eyes are now on the WRT machines. And we have a change for the class lead! Ye blasts past Frijns but Frijns hasn't given up on this. Battle is on - and it would seem there are no team orders.
GTE Pro: While the LMP2 action hots up out front, Pier Guidi maintains his lead from Garcia, with more than a two minute advantage.
LMP2: After making that move, Ye is now pulling clear and leads by four seconds. But, behind, Blomqvist is on a charge in the Jota machine and sets a 3m31.703s - a personal best - as he has the gap down to 73s to second-placed Frijns.
LMP2: The battle for fifth is also not over, either! Di Resta is looming large in the mirrors of the Inter Europol machine of van der Zande.
LMP2: There's now just 90 minutes to go, but predicting the LMP2 finishing order is a no easy task. The WRT machines and the leading Jota car are all on the same lap and we could be in for a grandstand conclusion.
GTE Pro: Pier Guidi has just pitted one lap after Garcia, reducing the gap between the pair to 50s.
GTE Am: Fraga is finally in for Keating in the #33 TF Sport Aston Martin, but has lots of time to make up on Rovera.
LMP2: Blomqvist really is on a charge in the third-placed Jota car. Just 10 minutes ago, the gap to second was 73s, now it's 57s. The WRT 1-2 is far from guaranteed at this rate.
GTE Am: The TF Sport Aston Martin of Neilsen will be in the lead after Rovera pitted, but both are likely to need another stop before the end of the race.
LMP2: The #34 Inter Europol car pits from fifth, promoting di Resta in the United Autosports car to the place. Brundle takes over from van der Zande and it will be fascinating to see which of the Brits will prevail in that battle.
350 laps done, and we've got just over an hour left at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
LMP2: At the front of the class, Frijns definitely does not have the pace of leader Ye in the sister WRT car. And now Blomqvist is just 48s behind as he continues to close the gap.
GTE Am: Fraga has taken 3s out of Nielsen, but he's still 1m37s down with 73 minutes left.
LMP2: Deletraz, who shares the class-leading #41 WRT machine admits "we were surprised to get in front" of long-time leader the sister #31 car. Deletraz adds the team's performance this weekend has been impressive: "This started in February and to look where the team is in this short amount of time is pretty amazing." But it will it hold on for a dream 1-2?
LMH: Forgive us, amid all the LMP2 excitement, we've neglected to mention the top class for a while. Conway has just brought the #7 Toyota in for its latest stop and Kobayashi takes over from the Briton - will he finally take the crew's first Le Mans win?
GTE Pro: Estre has pitted in his Porsche and will rejoin the track behind Garcia but ahead of Makowiecki, who also stopped.
LMP2: Frijns makes his stop a lap after Blomqvist and emerges with just 24s in hand over the catching Jota driver. A change for second place in class still looks on.
GTE Pro: Makowiecki has lost his rear diffuser, creating a lot of debris near to the Ford chicane, after suffering from brake issues.
