Tyler Reddick leads the NASCAR Cup championship standings after winning three consecutive races to open the 2026 season in a feat never seen before in the history of the sport.

And speaking of dominant showings, four-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou won the season-opener in St. Pete by over ten seconds.

Now, the top level of stock car racing and open-wheel racing in the United States are joining up together for a doubleheader weekend in Phoenix. The Arizona oval hasn't hosted an IndyCar race since the 2018 season.
