Raced across the world, Ambrose respects Indianapolis tradition

CONCORD, N.C. (July 23, 2013) - If there is one driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series who can speak about the tradition and history of race circuits across the world, it's Richard Petty Motorsports driver Marcos Ambrose.

Ambrose has experience racing in his home country of Australia, across Europe in open wheel ranks and now in North America in various NASCAR Series. It's difficult to count the various circuits that Ambrose has competed on. However, it's easy to point to the track that Ambrose feels is steeped in the most tradition. It's where Ambrose will take his No. 9 DEWALT Ford this weekend, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Ambrose will be making his sixth start at the 2.5-mile track this weekend.

And, just as it is prestigious for them to win at Indianapolis, it's the same for us as well."
