Hong Kong, China - Hong Kong car racer Darryl O'Young is looking to pick up where he left off a fortnight ago, when he returns to the Marrakech Street Circuit in Morocco this weekend for the second race of the 2013 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) season.

O'Young, who is an experienced rear-wheel drive car racer, set the fastest time of all the BMWs and tenth overall in qualifying in Monza two weeks ago. The Hong Kong top racer is keen to extend his strong run.

"I'm looking to continue building on the progress we made in pre-season testing and the race in Monza. I am getting more comfortable with the BMW each time I drive it. I will strive to continue improving each race, and be more consistently amongst the top 6 cars in the races', said the 33-year-old, who is targeting his career first WTCC podium finish.

Same as Monza, the street circuit in Marrakech consists of some long straights that do not favor the BMWs. However, Darryl is determined to make the most out of his new car.

"My goal is to score as many points as possible in Marrakech and also try to be the top BMW driver in the races. It is a good target and then from Slovakia, we can aim for stronger results in qualifying and the races," said an ambitious O'Young.

This weekend's race will be Darryl's third WTCC appearance in Morocco, last season he scored an independent P5 & P4 in two races.

Sponsors LKM and FUSPEED are the major forces behind Darryl’s pursuit of success in the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship. Please visit www.fiawtcc.com for more WTCC information and www.darryloyoung.com for the latest updates about Darryl.
