EXPERIENCE TEACHES...

Hi everyone,

This time it is me, Alberto Brojanigo, writing to tell you about the in-line race run by Alessandro at the world championships of Bogogno. I talked long with him about the fourteenth final position (11'29 the gap from the winner Elmar Sternath), a result that is overall positive and that confirmed, as the chrono on Thursday, the potentialities for being competitive at high levels in handbike too.

Unfortunately, Alex paid a bit in terms of inexperience in the initial stages of the race and did not filled promptly the gap generated by the sprint of one of the front runners. In the following kilometres it has been virtually impossible to fill the lost ground alone and his position stabilized within the third group of bikers, where the heat was not low. I will leave a bit of suspense on this and I will refer you to what Alessandro will tell you directly on this.

Who knows the "cavalryman" as I like to call him, knows also that he does not give up easily: tactical error apart, the athletic performance was great and there are wide margins of improvement. I therefore think that we will see some more deeds and that Alex will end up amazing us once more.

Meanwhile I send you his greetings and his "usual" promise to get in touch on the Back and Forth, obviously with a bit of patience.

Alberto Brojanigo
