Sebastien Ogier will kick off the final three stages of Wales Rally GB with a lead of 25.9 seconds, as he was close behind the dominating Ott Tanak throughout the Sunday morning leg.
The Frenchman was second in all three tests and, after only losing six tenths in SS17, he was over three seconds slower than Tanak in the next two stages.
Thierry Neuville maintained a gap bigger than 10 seconds over teammate Hayden Paddon as the Hyundai duo continued to hold third and fourth respectively.
Citroen's Kris Meeke is set for a fifth-place finish as he is 44 seconds behind the Hyundai duo and has an advantage of a minute over Dani Sordo's Hyundai in sixth.
Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) continued his recovery from his Friday dramas by taking seventh from Mads Ostberg in SS18, which was the only change in the order of the top 10 on Sunday morning.
Stephane Lefebvre (Citroen) and Eric Camilli (M-Sport Ford) hold the final points-scoring positions.
