Skoda Motorsport World Rally Team driver Janne Tuohino climbed eight places to lie 13th in the Fabia WRC 05 after the second leg of the Rally of Turkey.

Todays early stages were considerably drier than yesterday although rain showers hit the afternoon tests just before Janne was due to start.

Despite the difficult weather conditions he managed to get into the top 10 times on three of the six stages held in the Anatolian mountains.

Tomorrows final leg features just two stages to the west of Kemer. Crews must tackle a repeat of todays 16.45kms Chimera stage (SS14) before they face the final and longest stage of the rally, the 33.35kms Olympos test.

The rally finishes at 1255 local time (1155 CET). The leg includes 49.80kms of stages in a total route of 142.85kms.

Quotes:

Janne Tuohino: "This mornings stages were drier than yesterday and very nice to drive. We had some hydraulic problems that slowed us on the longest stage of the day and it was quite tough when it rained in the afternoon. Tomorrow will be a difficult last day but we are not so far from a top 10 result."

Martin Muehlmeier (Head of Skoda Motorsport): "Janne produced some good times today, especially in the afternoon but his overall position has been determined by what happened yesterday. For him now the most important thing is to reach the finish with no further problems."
