After both Thursday Supers Special Stages, the Rally of New Zealand really began with the Friday Leg, made up with 7th stages.

During all this day, Antony Warmbold and Gemma Price composed with a bad suspension set up, which penalized quite a lot the Ford Focus WRC n10 crew. After few modifications, Antony increased the rhythm at the end of the Leg 1.

Antony Warmbold " This morning we started with a bad suspensions set-up, the back of our Ford was to hard. The car slipped much too much so we loose a lot of time. Here, as soon as you are out of the ideal trajectory, the back wheels are on thick gravel that makes you lost again more time. Before the Possum special stage (48,210 km) I modified myself the suspensions set up in order to soften the back of the car, the handling was immediately better, and our time too. Tomorrow we will work again on the set up, we pay for our lack of testing but on the other hand the last stages of this leg were very encouraging. "
