Marlboro Mitsubishi Ralliart is pleased to confirm that Daniel Grataloup has been transferred from Intensive Care to a general ward in the hospital in Perth.

Orthopaedic surgeons have undertaken further examinations and there are no plans for any surgery to be carried out at the moment. Daniel's right leg has however been put in plaster, a precautionary measure to protect a small fracture.

Following further scans by the neurosurgeons, it is not totally clear whether Daniel has fractured his skull, being that it is often difficult to see hairline cracks, however the doctors are quite happy with his condition.

Cardiothoracic surgeons have yet to re-assess Daniel's chest, but he is not requiring much pain relief.

He remains in good spirits and François has visited the hospital a number of times today.

The team would like to express its gratitude to the hospital staff and obviously wishes Daniel a speedy recovery.
