Miguel Campos will have his first contact with the 2003 version of the 206 WRC Peugeot Sport.

Miguel Campos will be at Grenoble - Lyon on the 14th and 15th of January testing the 2003 version of the 206 WRC Peugeot Sport with the intent of preparing himself for the Monte Carlo Rally which will take place on the 22nd and 25th of January.

Miguel Campos and his co-driver, Nuno Rodrigues da Silva, will have their first contact with the new machine which they will test in several types of conditions: on their first day they will test it in areas with snow and ice and on the second on dry and wet conditions. The programme will be exhaustive, mainly focusing on suspension settings, evolution tyre testing made available by Michelin, and adjusting to adverse weather conditions.

The Peugeot Portugal driver is anxious to begin this new stage of his career: "I am looking forward for the testing session. Not only because I will have the opportunity to meet the Bozian Racing Team, but also because I will have the chance to drive the 2003 version of the 206 WRC Peugeot Sport which has some differences comparatively to the WRC I was used to drive, mostly in terms of engine and gear box" stated Miguel Campos.

"My expectations are high. I will test in ice and snow conditions and I know that this will be my biggest challenge, because these are weather conditions which I am not used to, and are the main novelty for me. Up to this day, I have been a driver that quickly adjusts to new challenges, I hope that this time won't be an exception" concluded the European Rally Runner-up.

The Peugeot Portugal Sports Director is optimistic: "On the January 13th we will meet the Bozian Racing Team and find out which is there operating strategy and on the next two days we will do some intensive testing so that Miguel may have the confidence and level of adaptation that he needs to face this first challenge of the Monte Carlo Rally in the best possible way" stated Carlos Barros anxious to see the adaptation of his driver to this new stage of his career.
