Latvala stretches advantage in Finland

The Finn is doing his home crowd proud after two days of rallying action.

Jari-Matti Latvala dominated Friday's stages in Finland, extending his lead to 19.7 seconds. Kris Meeke has overhauled Sebastien Ogier, taken second overall on the time sheets. 1.6 seconds separate those two. Andreas Mikkelsen and Mads Ostberg rounded out the top five.

Now for the casualties of the day. Juho Hanninen, who is currently placed ninth, rolled his Hyundai during today's action. Thierry Neuville got a little too close for comfort to the trees lining the course and ended up with roll cage damage. Robert Kubica also crashed early, suffering suspension damage.

Mikko Hirvonen, Hayden Paddon, Elfyn Evans, Juho Hanninen, and Craig Breen made up the rest of the top ten. Two days down, two to go in Finland.
