The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) has formed a new alliance with Delphi, one of the world’s major automotive suppliers, which becomes the official Automotive Technology Partner to the all-action series.
Delphi is a leading partner to the top 25 vehicle manufacturers worldwide and focuses on delivering safe, green and connected technologies to its customers. Whether automotive, commercial, vehicle or other market segments, Delphi prides itself on delivering real-world innovations aimed at making products smarter, safer, more powerful and more efficient.
The company’s aftermarket product portfolio includes air conditioning, braking, diesel fuel injection systems and components, steering and suspension and vehicle electronics, as well as diagnostics tools, test equipment and training. Its global network of diesel specialist and Delphi Service Centre garages service these technologies.
Delphi is no stranger to motorsport through its existing sponsorship of the Hendrick Motorsports team in the US-based NASCAR series. It also supports the British Truck Racing Championship. As an official WRC partner, Delphi will have access to branding and marketing rights at rallies throughout the season, as well as a presence on the championship’s official website, www.wrc.com.

The race for the 2011 WRC title is currently being fought out on the gravel stages of Vodafone Rally de Portugal which concludes on Sunday 27 March.
