The world’s best rallycross stars are back in action this weekend in round two of the FIA World Rallycross Championship from Montalegre, Portugal – with all the race day action LIVE on Motorsport.tv.

Series superstars Sebastien Loeb, Petter Solberg, Ken Block and opening-round winner Mattias Ekstrom will all be racing head-to-head around the quick-fire 1.52km track. The venue presents a unique challenge for both drivers and engineers: at 1,800-metres above sea level, it is the highest event on the World RX calendar and engines need to be finely tuned to deal with the higher altitude.

“The start couldn’t have gone better – now we have to up the ante at Montalegre,” says Ekstrom, who has reached the final on every World RX circuit he has competed at besides Portugal.

“I have good and bad memories of last year. Everything was going according to plan up until the semi-final, but then a mistake in turn one cost me the final.”

Tune in – Sunday 23rd April
