MECHANICSBURG, PA (October 3) - The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series postponed the feature program of 36th Annual Williams Grove National Open Saturday when rain made Williams Grove Speedway unsafe for racing. The fire-breathing, mudslinging sprint car racing teams will return to the legendary semi-banked, 1/2-mile oval Sunday at 4 p.m. to complete the event. Finishing 1-4 in Friday's Preliminary Feature automatically qualified Mark Kinser, Greg Hodnett, Danny Lasoski and Cris Eash for the first four starting positions in the Channellock Dash. Steve Kinser opened a 100-point advantage over defending series and Williams Grove National Open champion Sammy Swindell during the preliminary program of the 59th event of the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series' 20th Anniversary season. Mark Kinser is only six points behind Swindell and 25 points ahead of Stevie Smith in the tightest points race in series history. WoO
