PLANO, TX (February 26) - The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series is pleased to announce the addition of Freightliner to its list of series sponsors, series President Ted Johnson said Friday.

"We're really pleased to have Freightliner come on board with us," Johnson said. "We look forward to a long, successful relationship with this fine company."

The multi-year, multi-million-dollar sponsorship calls for Freightliner to provide each team ranking in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series' top 10 with either a Classic XL or Century Class Freightliner truck powered by Caterpillar.

Freightliner Corporation is North America's leading manufacturer of medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks and specialized chassis. Its heavy-duty line consists of the standard-setting Century Class, a new cabover called the Argosy and the Classic XL, the favorite among owner operators. Freightliner was founded in 1942 and is based in Portland, OR.

As a DaimlerChrysler company, Freightliner's objective is to be the leader in every market segment it enters, offering superior value through advanced technology, premium products and services. Freightliner has always been "the company that does things right." WoO
