9th Annual Wild Wild Northwest Tour Featuring The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series

Brownfield Promotions, Inc. is proud to announce that the "Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series" will once again bring the finest sprint car drivers in the world to the Great Northwest this coming August with the "Wild Wild Northwest Tour".

The 9th Annual "Wild Wild Northwest Tour" will travel from the prestigious Knoxville Nationals in Knoxville, Iowa, to open their Northwest Tour on August 13th at MetraPark in Billings, MT.

Following their appearance in Billings, the Wild Wild Northwest Tour moves west to the home of the "Pennzoil World of Outlaws Wild Wild Northwest Tour" Grays Harbor Raceway Park in Elma, WA for a two day showing on Friday and Saturday, August 16th and 17th.

With plenty of day time entertainment for the fans, such as the Outlaw Days Parade, Car Show, Go Kart Races, Quarter Midget Races, Live Music at the Fairgrounds, Sidewalk Sales and many other festive events,"Outlaw Days" at Elma has become "The Event to Attend" in Northwest racing.

In 2002 the Brownfield Promotions, Inc."Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series" will return to two tracks in the northwest. The first will be on Friday, August 23rd when they will take to the clay at Skagit Speedway, Alger, WA for the first time since 1995. Brownfield Promotions, Inc. is pleased to have Steve Beitler and Jim Cress of Fun Time Promotions involved with the Wild Wild Northwest Tour circuit in 2002 to bring this exciting racing back to Skagit Speedway.

Following Friday's action packed show at Skagit Speedway, drivers and crews head back over the Cascade Mountains to State Fair Raceway in Yakima, WA for the Saturday night, August 24th race.

The "Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series Wild Wild Northwest Tour"" will close out their 9th swing of the Northwest when they return to Cottage Grove, OR on Tuesday, August 27th. Formerly the Riverside Speedway, new owners Robert and Russell Leach have renamed it "The Grove" and are pleased to have the Outlaws return to the track.

Regardless of which track they are racing on, you can always count on exciting open wheel sprint car action when the "Pennzoil World of Outlaws" returns to the Northwest.
