Lasoski on running eight races in 11 days in five different states:
"We've got a lot of racing over the next week and a half, which means a lot of opportunities. We head back to Knoxville - a place I love. There's just a bunch of races coming up where we've run really well, and we need to keep running well because Steve's (Kinser) keeping the pressure on by winning a lot too. We've been right there with him, but it's time to spread the wealth and make some of our own stops in victory lane."
Team Owner Tony Stewart on Lasoski's upcoming slate of races:
"It's parts of the season like this that makes for a championship run. They're running all over the place and the competition is always tough. You've got to be ready for every race, because you know the guys you're racing against are going to be ready too. If you let up, you lose. That's one thing Danny and (crew chief) Jimmy Carr don't ever do. They're always working to be better, to find better ways of doing things. And quite frankly, that's all you can ask. You do that and the points take care of themselves."
Nuts and Bolts.
Lasoski finished 10th in the IROC race held April 5 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. He is now tied for sixth in points with Sam Hornish of the Indy Racing League and Kevin Harvick of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. All three drivers trail point leader Kurt Busch by 24 points with two events remaining - July 12 at Chicagoland Speedway and August 2 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
