Lasoski on his upcoming slate of races:
"This past weekend wasn't kind to us, but it's in the past as far as we're concerned. We've got a bunch of races coming up - seven in 10 days - so the way we look at it is we've got a bunch more opportunities to make up the ground we lost. We head back to Williams Grove Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and for me I feel like I've got some unfinished business there since that's the track that pretty much ended our championship run last year. I wrecked pretty good. It was enough to knock me out of a race and keep me out of the IROC car at Indy. So, I want to go in there and run really well for personal reasons as well as for the obvious reasons of winning another championship for Tony."
Team Owner Tony Stewart on Lasoski's upcoming slate of races:
"If anyone knows something about going through a tough part of the season it's me. I mean, it seems like all year we've had our share of ups and downs over in the Cup car. Danny had a tough weekend, but there are plenty more weekends left. He's strong and the team's strong. As long as they keep working like they always have, they'll be fine."
Nuts and Bolts.
Lasoski finished 10th in the IROC race held July 12 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. He is now ninth in points, with his best IROC finish being a third-place effort at the season-opener in Daytona (Fla.).
