Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore/J&J for TSR:

"The consistency continues and we just keeping looking toward the next race. This Tony Stewart Racing team keeps putting a fast race car under me. After winning at Williams Grove (last Saturday), we were looking forward to returning to Canada and racing at Ohsweken, but Mother Nature decided she wasn't a race fan.

"One of our goals this year was to have better results at tracks where we didn't have the kind of success we wanted. Last year at I- 96, we had a top-five car, but lost a tire and ended up 22nd. To be able to race from the seventh starting spot and finish second was a positive. I probably drove a little too hard. If I would have been a bit more patient, we may have gotten by (race-winner) Steve (Kinser).

"Going to K-C has always been good for us. The Armor All car was locked down all night and I let the track come to me in the feature. Winning races is what we are out here to do, and everyone involved with TSR is helping make it happen. We've got another full week of action ahead of us before going to Knoxville, and we'd like to get a few more wins on our way to the Nationals."

Kraig Kinser, driver of the No. 20 Bass Pro Shops/Chevy/J.D. Byrider Maxim for TSR:

"Having a couple of top-10 runs was hopefully something we can build on. On Friday, the Bass Pro Shops Chevy was really good and we were able to qualify decent. We maintained our spot in the top- 10 throughout the feature, so that was a positive.

"We drew a late number for qualifying on Saturday at K-C and that put us behind from the start. We struggled all night and finally got a little better in the B-main. We had to make a lot of changes to get our car hooked up on the slick track. For most of the year, we've really struggled when the track gets slick, but I guess we had a plenty of chances to get the car better through the heat and B-main.

"The TSR guys made the right changes for the feature, and got it dialed in pretty good. We were able to make a charge from 25th to ninth, so we'll try to carry that over to this week's races."
