Two More WoO Top Tens for Shane Stewart

From Rudeen Racing powered by mIn Motorsports, OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (May 11, 2005) -- After posting two more top ten feature finishes in this past weekend's World of Outlaws Sprint Series competition, Shane Stewart and the Rudeen Racing powered by mIn Motorsports No. 26 Sprint Car team are ready for this Saturday night's "Ohio Challenge" at K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH.

Shane notched eighth and ninth place finishes over the weekend aboard the Wesmar-powered HRP Wings/Schoenfeld Headers Maxim to run his season total to twelve top tens in twenty features contested thus far. Only four drivers have finished among the top ten more than Shane's dozen.

Shane kicked off the weekend at Eldon, Missouri's Lake Ozark Speedway, where he swept last year's LOS 360 Nationals, by timing in at thirteenth. After topping his heat race aboard the XYZ Machining/Car & Fleet mount, Shane gridded the feature field tenth after racing to a fifth place finish in the evening's second dash.J

Shane then gained a pair of positions in the 40-lap main event to snare an eighth place finish for the night.

Moving on to Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL, the following night, Shane clocked in eleventh before out dueling Jason Solwold to notch a runner-up heat race finish aboard the Brodix/Banshee Graphics machine. After a fourth place Dash finish, Shane would take the checkered flag ninth in the 30-lap feature to make it two-for-two in top ten finishes for the weekend.

With Monday's scheduled event at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK, cancelled, Shane, along with co-crew chiefs Bob Curtis and Eric Manfrass are on the way to K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH, for Saturday night's "Ohio Challenge" with Shane trailing Tim Kaeding by a mere eight points in the series Rookie of the Year points chase.

Following Saturday night's Ohio event, it's on to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA, for the Rudeen Development team on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, with Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA, leading into a Williams Grove Speedway double in Mechanicsburg, PA.
