WORK 'N WOODY READY FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF "JUST PUSH 'N OFF"
Deming, NM-- January 30, 2009--Eric Malies is proud to announce that Work 'N Woody, the official Push Truck and Safety vehicle of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is ready for the 2009 season to begin. With the retirement of my parents (Art & Carol) at the end of the 2008 season after receiving the first ever "Outlaw Award" at the World of Outlaws season ending awards ceremony in Charlotte, North Carolina, a new beginning for Work 'N Woody was born. As the new owner and operator of Work 'N Woody, I am very excited for the new season to start. After spending the off season in Deming, New Mexico preparing Woody for another grueling season chasing the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, I am excited to say that Woody is ready and roaring to go.
I would like to give special thanks to the following people for helping get Woody ready to go: my Mom & Dad, if it wasn't for them there would be no Work 'N Woody, my Dad for all of his tireless work during the winter helping me and providing me with the necessary guidance and expertise, thanks Dad. Also Bob Westphal of WESMAR Racing Engines for the new valve job on Woody's WESMAR 368 engine, Vic Wood of Headman Headers for helping find new headers to fit Woody's tight engine compartment, Bill Floyd of AFCO Shocks for supplying new shocks for Woody and finally a big thanks to Bill and Billy Roy Harris of Harris Auto Electric, and Steve Maguire in Deming, NM and CSR Garage in Las Cruces, NM for helping out in every way.
I can't wait for the 2009 season to start. This has been a dream of mine for the past several years to carry on the tradition of Work 'N Woody after my parents. For the past 30 years they dedicated their lives helping the drivers and teams, doing their best to improve safety and help the World of Outlaws provide the best and most exciting form of auto racing in the world.
I am very grateful for the following partners for their continuing support of Work 'N Woody, and myself, I look forward to representing them during the 2009 WoO season: ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems, Clean Seal, Red Line Synthetic Oil, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, J E Pistons, WESMAR Racing, Waterman Racing Components, Gaerte Racing, KSE Racing Products, Shaver Specialty Co., and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. To the best racing fans in the world, please support them when you can and come by before, during and after the races to take a closer look at Woody and to enjoy a good story or two.
